Here we see Walt Disney's Disneyland, a theme park for the whole family. With Disneyland's opening in 1955, Walt changed the way people would view amusement parks, and revolutionized the family vacation. Walt now had a living, breathing showcase for his visions and ideas. Unlike a movie, which, when finished, had to be set aside, Disneyland would be constantly changing and evolving with new technologies and improvements as seen by Walt. Now, in 2004, we have two theme parks, three hotels, and a shopping village. Like Walt Disney World, it is more of a multi-day destination for the whole family to enjoy.
