Theme Park Paper is a site dedicated to telling the story of the Disney theme parks.
From the opening of Disneyland in 1955, through the parks of today, the parks of
tomorrow and the parks that never were, there has been left a trail of paper that
will never end.

From the earliest concept drawings, to pictorial guides, newspaper articles, magazines,
wall maps, or even napkins, each piece of paper tells part of the story about the Disney
world that we know and love. A napkin can remind us of a favorite meal on our first trip
to one of the parks, a guidemap retrace our steps, a book or magazine article make us realize
a little bit of what goes on behind the scenes. Each is important to someone as a memento,
a memory, a collectible or an investment. Each is here because it exists for us to enjoy.

I hope through this site that you will begin an exploration that will be both informative and entertaining. I know that this project is one that will
never be complete, but, like the parks, it will continue to evolve and change over time. I hope you'll have as much fun with it as I've had creating it!
